NON-HUNTERS

There is no charge for stargazing, birdwatching, hiking, photo safaris, deep breathing of the fresh country air, observation of a spectacular Hill Country sunset from the porch, or relaxing in front of the fire pit. Enjoy the beauty and serenity that Muzunga Ranch has to offer.  We welcome you!

For non-hunters, there are several areas of interest within a two -hour drive of the ranch if you should like to venture out on your own:

·      Sonora Caverns

·      Rock Springs and The Devil’s Sinkhole

·      South Llano River (Fishing & Kayaking Excursions from Junction)

·      Fredericksburg  (Winery Tours, Micro-Brewery Tours, Antiquing & National Museum of the Pacific War/Admiral Nimitz Museum).

·      Llano (Shopping, Dining, Live Entertainment & Art Festivals)

·      Kerrville  (Heart of the Texas Hill Country, Farmer’s Market every Friday).

·      Leakey (Scenic Drive Adored by Bikers, Frio River Rafting  & Fishing ).

·      Bandera (Cowboy Capital of the World, Medina River Rafting  & Fishing).

The water on the ranch is sourced from the Edwards Aquifer and is exceptional.
